Wave 1 | Prompt 3: A character who goes through a great change or metamorphosis

I originally thought of Sabretail for this prompt, but the page created for that character was made long before this event, and I don’t want to reset article dates. So, instead, I had another character in mind that I almost forgot about. It was in my World Anvil notebook, and I believe part of the name came from a random name generator. Luckily, it was something that would work for this prompt.
The other part of the character’s name came from a dragon of mine on the Dragon Cave site, which was based on its unique URL code.
Sphyii (pronounced “Fee”, but “Sfee” also works) was the character that I could think of that hadn’t already been created that I could use for this prompt.
She is an ancient amphithere with iridescent blue scales and purple eyes, friends with Taavi, and lives in Dragonspire. She is unable to talk, less a few noises, because she fought the Wyrm of Chaos who significantly damaged her throat. She is also known as “The Voiceless”, by her ancient legend name.
She was one of three who helped transport and imprison the Wyrm of Chaos at Frostcrest.
Despite lacking the ability to articulate speech like other ancient dragonkin, she possesses the capacity to communicate through a soft, whispering voice. She also has difficulty growling to ward off predators, so she resorts to hissing and making herself look bigger by spreading her wings.
She is the first amphithere written for this story; I had plenty of wyrms, drakes, and dragons. I, for some reason, envisioned this character being an amphithere. Maybe it's because they’re friends with Taavi, and she’s technically a wyrm, which is closely related to an amphithere? I don’t know.
I had a vague idea for this character written in my World Anvil notebook for a while, but I almost forgot about it. Every now and then, I’d remember the name while I was falling asleep and expand on the idea. A few times, I thought of the character as a drake or something, but I decided not to in the end, as I already had plenty of those.
Shortly after writing about the Novascale Island, I came up with the species with the same name. So I decided to make that the species based on this character’s description.
