2 years of progress reports?! Damn, where has the time gone? It’s also been one year of highlighting articles from you guys every week (or so) on my Root Directory world and Discord server!

Well, Summer Camp has concluded, and now it’s time to read your articles! I did manage to actually surpass my copper goal, and I got silver! I got some work done on a bit of history for an area in my world, so that’s nice. The stupid heat waves we had made it suck, as it was too hot to have my main PC on, so I had to work from my laptop, which is fine, but it’s a smaller screen, and there’s only one of them. Even though it would make my laptop run hotter and drain its battery faster, it was nice to see everyone playing Bongocat during Summer Camp! At one point, it took up my entire taskbar on my laptop LOL.

I couldn’t help but do CSS things in the middle of Summer Camp. I tweaked some things with my homepage and added a little selector button to spotlight important articles related to its section. But the big thing was I redesigned character/species pages to look so much cooler! I had a test page for people to check it out, and I think it was well received! I started to implement it on real articles, but not all of them yet. Looks like I’ll need to start drawing characters to have an image for their article. They’ll be blank placeholder images for now.
