Oh boy, when I saw this prompt, I thought about having some fun with it. And I sure took the “associated with joy and fun” to heart with this one.
One late night, while I was talking with friends, I randomly had the thought of THC iced coffee. I then realized a joke, calling the drink wake and bake.
I took this premise and made it a cafe in my world, Wake ‘n Bake!
Wake 'n Bake is a cozy café nestled in the heart of Glimmertide. They are known for their specialty THC-infused coffee and a variety of herbal teas. One of their signature offerings is Crystal Tea, which is carefully prepared using the waters sourced from the hot springs of the Glistening Meadows.
The name of the establishment is a play on words, with half of it referring to the "waking" effect of caffeine, and the other half alluding to the "baked" state induced by THC consumption. Additionally, this place also offers a variety of sandwiches, pastries, and snacks, providing a wide selection of food options for customers.
I just thought this would be too good to pass up for this writing prompt. Plus, I get to use that Crystal Tea thing I came up with while writing for the condition prompt! See, it all comes together.
